Product Details
Brand: Darkmoon Dragonfeathers
Weight: 0.17 lbs

Four thieves oils are normaly herbal based recipes used for cleansing, protection, healing and even mundane cleaning. This powder has the same magical qualities as the oil, it is basicaly the same substance just in a dry powdered form.

We recommed using this product when doing protective or healing magics. It could be used around the house and scattered under thresholds for example, or added as an ingredient in spell bags, poppets, etc. For those who like candle magic then why not try annointing your healing candles with oil then roll it in four thieves powder.

Like with any magically charged ingredients the limits of what you can do with this product is your imagination but you may wish to read the legendary story and get inspiration from that.

The Legend of the Four Thieves

Once upon a time a plague was ravaging Europe, killing thousands and thousands of people. A band of thieves developed a formula that they felt allowed them to rob the dead or the sick without getting the plague thenselves. When they were caught, they offered to exchange their secret recipe, which had allowed them to commit the robberies without catching the disease, in exchange for leniency.

Another version says that the thieves had already been caught before the outbreak and their sentence had been to bury dead plague victims; to survive this punishment, they created 4 Thieves vinegar.

The city in which this happened is usually said to be Marseille or Toulouse, in France, and the time period can be given as anywhere between the 14th and 18th century depending on the storyteller.

It is a legend and like many legends probably never really happened but this story has survived and inspired many in the past and hopefully it will inspire you in your magical work.

Not for internal use.
