Hanging Brass Censer

A brass burner with the option to set on a surface or hang from the chains. 

Uniquely shaped vessel with several star cut outs. When used with a tealight the cutouts allow the light from within to illuminate the area this piece is hung. 

When used for incense, we recommend sand in the bottom of the censer for the incense charcoal to rest on. This will absoreb some of the heat the charcoal will generate.

Once the incense charcoal is lit, place in the censer and place the loose incense or resin on the charcoal or on a small grate that rest on top of the charcoal. 

Without the chains, the censer is about 5 inches tall and 3.5 inches across. The chains allow it to be hung or carried safely. Carry from the place where the chains meet high above the hot, hot censer.
