Welcome to the Magus Books and Herb's Arcane Academy. We offer a variety of classes, workshops, author talks, booksignings, events, and space for social groups.
To best ensure your spot in one of our many events or classes, please register for classes at least 24 hours piror to the start of class. Teachers are allowed to cancel class if there no sign-ups 24 hours before class start.

November 4th 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM The continuation of Class 1. The small & large intestines are discussed. Common ailments and the herbs for them will be covered in terms of the six tissue states. These concepts are foundational to the study of herbs in these courses. You will not want to miss this is class.

This mixed-level fusion belly dance class imparts styling from contemporary dance forms, American Tribal Style® and belly dance (raqs sharqi). Open to all levels.

Novemeber 18th 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM Gain an understanding of the ways the ears reflect health and the time frame of health that the ears reflect. Students will get “eyes on” experience, pairing up with a fellow student and looking at what they see before them.
October 24th November 21st December 19th 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM Join us for an evening of drinks and casual conversation about who we are, what we are, and what we want to do with the time we have to share with one another. Topics are focused around the “Four Ls”, Light, Life, Love and Liberty, the things we seek to experience and enjoy in our personal lives, our community, and to share with the world at large.
November 25th 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM A tincture is a liquid resulting from soaking an herb (or herbs) in a carrier (often alcohol) for an extended period of time. Some herbs benefit from tincturing rather than from a decoction or an infusion. Additionally, different disorders might call for a remdey of a tincture, or a blend of tinctures. Learn about the wonderfully diverse, fun, and usful properties and preperation of tinctures in this hour and half long class. You are also able to make and take home your own tincture.
