Belly dance with a twist. Learn and practice the basics and beyond with Alana Mari. Each class consists of drills practice, finger cymbal practice, and learning combinations with a focus on good posture and mindful movement. Beginning dancers can expect an exciting intro to the dance form and practice fun combinations, engage with torso isolations, fluid arm movements, footwork, and an intro to Middle Eastern rhythms. Please note: Complete beginners to belly dance should expect a challenge in a kind and supportive learning environment.
Intermediate/advanced dancers will practice fun, tricky combinations and layering, focus on performance skills and move beyond the basics of fusion styling and technique. Each student will receive individual attention and feedback catered to their learning needs.
