Fifth Pentacle of the Moon

The Angels on this seal bear the powers of judgment and destruction and hold knowledge of the afterlife, liberation of souls from places of bondage therein, and they also can summon the spirits of the dead. Azrael in particular is believed to confer to selected practitioners an ability to send souls from among the living on a journey into afterlife and then call their souls back into their bodies to tell the tale of their journey.
