Nestled in eight festivals reflect the cental myths of the Celts in this
poster of the Polish sorcerer and artist Asenath Mason.
Be it the birth of light on the Winter Solstice or the slow death of the sun
after their climax on the 20th of Jun and its entry into the underworld a the
time of the Autumn Equinox around the 20th of September.
The four solar festivals also meet the four key states in agriculture;
Sowing, Nurturing, Harvesting and Rest.
The four lunar festivals, some with fertility, but also with death and
related offenses, have been used for millennia by farmers as major phases of the
cycle of life to be considered in planning ones future actions.
Below are four samples of elements of detail that are on the poster...they
are NOT available separately.
