Parsley leaf flakes 1oz

Parsley, or Petroselinum Sativum, is one of those common kitchen herbs that we find garnishing our plates and adding flavor to our meals without really giving it much thought. Originating within the Mediterranean, the plant appears with clusters of leaves atop of stalks, with a vibrant green color throughout the plant. In Ancient Greece and Egypt, Parsley was used to crown the head of the victorious, and in Greek tradition it was believed to have been born of the blood of the hero Archemorus.

Within these traditions, it is believed to help achieve victory through renewed vigor. Some modern magical practices also suggest that Parsley is associated with love, and can be used in protection magic. Found in culinary dishes since the Ancient world, with notables such as Galen, Pliny, and even Charlemagne reportedly using it in every meal, Parsely is most commonly found on the dinner table.

Modern herbalists, following in the ancient traditions, view it as being useful as a tonic and diuretic. The leaves are believed to be useful in treating swelling, contusions, and enlarged glands.

This is a 1 ounce packet of parsley leaf flakes
