Author:
Fox, Matthew
In "1517," Martin Luther nailed 95 theses calling for a Reformation to the door of a Catholic church in "Wittenberg," Germany. During Pentecost week "2005," former Dominican priest Matthew Fox nailed to that same church door a new set of 95 theses calling for a reawakening of the Christian spirit and repudiating the authoritarianism of churches today. Besides condemning the modern-day corruption of "Catholicism," Fox offers a new vision of Christianity that values the "Earth," honors the "feminine," and emphasizes spiritual tolerance.
