The Naaessenes, target of Church suppression for "heresies" in the third century, were in fact not a derivative sect but the authentic teachers of Christ's message. Their account of Jesus' actual teachings at the Last Supper reveal that it was prepared for an inner circle of disciples who were ready for advanced initiation into Jesus' wisdom teachings, using a "Grail" which was not an actual chalice, but a symbol of the indwelling of the divine.
