Peruvian Bark-Powder-1 pound

Peruvian Bark (Cinchona ovata-vulgaris) is the original source of quinine, and is a traditional and natural remedy itself for malaria. The source of bitterness in tonic water, gin and tonics were invented to make the tonic water used in India as a health drink, more palatable.

Homemade tonic water is still used by some for leg cramps, chills, and slow digestion.

If a skin rash or bruising appears or if dizziness occurs while using, stop immediately. This herb is not recommended for internal use while pregnant.

This is a protective tree, so keeping a little of the bark in the home and around loved ones brings a sense of magickal protection to the user.
