Associated with fire, amber comes from the sap of coniferous trees, most often Pinus succinifera.

It can be used for purification, cleansing and protection. Amber has some antibiotic and stimulating properties.

In TCM it is used in the treatment of amnesia, anxiety, palpitations, tremors, encourage urination, heal swollen tissues, to calm the spirit, excessive dreaming, and insomnia.

It effects the meridians of the heart, liver and bladder.

It is a sweet remedy, so it acts on dry tissue states.
