Aloeswood ("Premium")-Powder-1 pound

Used in traditional healing for issues like stomach pain with nausea, Aloeswood (Aquilaria agallocha) is also one of the most valued woods in the world of incense. It is used to enhance higher states of meditation and prayer, raise the spiritual level of the space it is burned in, end negativity, center the mind, and ground the heart. Aloeswood comes from the heartwood and roots of the evergreen tree aquilaria agallocha. It is not until these trees become infected by a fungus and, to get rid of the fungus, produces a resin. It is asociated with Jupiter. For more on the medicinal: Chinese medicine uses aloeswood for obsession, nerves, exhaustion, aphrodisiac.Excerpted with permission from Materia Medica by liz Johnson.
