Peace Evolutions
Blues music isn't just about having the "blues," but also about "courage," "survival," love and forgiveness. These blues songs complement the general concepts in Jefferson Glassie's "Peace" and "Forgiveness" books. But each also evokes the artist's individuality and belief in a better world. All were contributed without compensation to help preserve the Archie Edwards Blues Heritage Foundation in Washington DC - a "nonprofit," tax-exempt organization that operates the well-known "Barbershop," where for decades the late Archie Edwards cut "hair," and every Saturday afternoon played the blues.
