My years of working with the body/mind connection now translates in this book into techniques for healing digestive disorders. Who am I? Presently I am a consulting scholar at Tulane University specializing in educating the public about the connection between the environment and our health. In the past, I was a nutritionist and health practitioner in the first holistic clinic in the U.S., had a radio show in the Bay area on nutrition, a health column for the San Francisco Chronicle, and co-designed a line of digestive vitamins with Dr. Leo Galland and a line of female vitamins with Drs. Jonathan Wright and Alan Gaby. I led health seminars and meditation retreats for decades.
