Keyboardist Shulman, creator of Light from Assisi, composed this CD's titletrack for the Open Space Coalition, an organization that turns empty lots in NewYork City into public gardens and parks. Other tunes were written for Shulman'sbrand new nephew, his mother, and a stranger named Lydia. The final piece,Compassion, came in a dream not only to complete the suite he was working on,but to help him integrate compassion into his life.
