My book, Astrology And Consciousness, was a labor of love. It is the result of 30 years of study and countless readings I have given. The prime focus of my work, as in my personal life, is consciousness development. I often tell my students that astrology is most useful as a system to expand awareness. It can help you to distinguish between possibilities and probabilities. It can enable us to clearly be aware of and fully utilize all our tools and resources. To understand yourself through astrology is to be become objectively aware of what desires you are here to fulfill and what lessons you are here to learn. What makes Astrology and Consciousness different from other astrology books is that it defines and describes how the system works in all areas of life and how it can be applied to many levels of consciousness. It provides key word definitions of all the prime variables (planets, signs, houses and aspects) in a simple way. It also explains how to apply those variables on the mundane level (career, health, finance), the social level (relationship), and the emotional-psychological-familial level (objective understanding of the self on the inner planes). Most valuable, I think, is the way the book discusses how each of the archetypes astrology utilizes can be applied to the process of consciousness change. This book can be read, enjoyed and appreciated by beginning students who are just learning the names of the variable, intermediate students who are ready to utilize the basic variables in chart interpretation, and advanced astrologers who want to broaden their working knowledge of the system. Astrology and Consciousness is an expanded yet concise explication of the classes I have taught for 20 years. It brings to the market place insights I have gained talking to people and giving readings. I feel proud to offer this book to the public.
